Dr Emma Deacon graduated from Birmingham University in 1992. She has spent time in dental practice in London and the West Midlands and has a passion for Cosmetic, Restorative and Family Dentistry.
She has a calm and empathic style that means many of her patients have followed her all over the Midlands. Emma has a natural flare for providing advanced restorative dentistry in a timely and pain free fashion. Emma is able to provide quick and comfortable solutions to even the most complex dental problems. If you need simple maintenance, Emma and the team will help keep your teeth healthy for life. If you need more advanced treatment then we will provide you with a straightforward and clear solution that will fulfil your functional and aesthetic requirements.
Emma has three sporty and rapidly growing children who make sure that she spends more time in a car than she would like to. When she isn’t providing a taxi service she is a keen runner having completed numerous half marathons.

Will Murphy graduated from The University of Birmingham in 1991 and has practiced in the city ever since. He has a special interest in Implant and advanced restorative Dentistry, having been placing dental implants since 1999.Will plays an active role in post graduate education and has run many courses and lectures including being lead tutor for candidates sitting their membership exams at the Royal College of Surgeons. He has held the position of Clinical Assistant in Oral Surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
Will has completed many advanced courses in implant and aesthetic restorative dentistry and was awarded an advanced certificate with the prestigious Implant Diploma at the Royal College of Surgeons in 2010. Until recently his focus was tutoring and lecturing on the Implant Diploma Course at The Royal College of Surgeons London.
In 2024 Will was awarded the highest accolade of Fellowship from the College of General Dentistry. He continues with his passion for helping aspiring implant dentists learn the intricacies of this exciting field of dentistry.
Will has four grown up children one grandchild (so far), loves skiing, cycling and is a truly average guitarist.

Shellie joined the team in 2014. She has been working in dentistry for 26 years, we all agree that she doesn’t look old enough. Must be all the red wine! & her addiction to teeth whitening. She officially has the whitest smile in Dorridge
Shellie has a special interest in facial aesthetics, she loves assisting Emma Deacon in all the treatments and seeing the instant results.

Emma has been a dental nurse for 35years. She previously worked with Emma Deacon at her practice in Kings Norton for 10 years.
She loves football, following the England team home and away. Emma has also visited the 92 football league grounds and is an avid Arsenal fan.
Emma loves travelling and has managed to visit 100 countries.. not all football related. At work Emm’s special interest is oral surgery and assisting Dr Will Murphy in Implant placements.
Sam Pierce

Sam qualified in 2023 and joined our team shorlty after. Having passion for oral health advice, orthodontics and implants. Outside of nursing Sam is a keen baker and loves a good walk with her minature Dachshund.
Sam also has a passion for travel, as a previous cabin crew member in her early days she also lived in Greece.
